I could not beleive he didn't remember. Here is some footage of Drachenfeld's own Skorpious Romulus. He said he didn't remember this...
You judge for yourself...did he lose grip of his sword. The sword came out of his hand hits the ground and he graps it. This footage has gotten over 400 hits on YouTube.

Here is something that Milord Caoilte McBain shared with me last night as I was helping them put their website for Wood-n-Woven.com on-line.

From Maistreas Caointiarn
Howdy! Twelfth Night in Bronzehelm was a great event! Thank you to those brave souls who traveled from your area!
I hope you are all doing well -- how many are you are preparing for Estrella? {WAR! shopping! VOLUNTEER!} In your preparations, remember to think to do 2 hours of volunteer work per day that you are there.. Here's why: You create funds for your group! Profits get split among the "major" Kingdoms participating, and for each hour of volunteering, the Kingdom gets an added bonus, and the HOME GROUP receives a stipend.
Estrella has many many choices for tasks, from Marshalling {never enough} to Heralds, to gate, to security {possibly double points for the night shift} first aid, children's activities, and the list goes on. Go to estrellawar.org for more details.
One more something: the great "WE" are hoping that everything is in order for Drachenfeld to be recognized as an "Incipient Shire" at Crown Tournament in Barony of Sentinel's Keep {April 12th}. Please do everything you can to be present for this YOUR recognition! I am looking forward to introducing you all to Their Majesties, Their Court, and the citizens of Artemisia.
Play well & have fun!

Our Trip to Bronzehelm for 12th Night
I good time was had by all who attended 12th Night at Bronzehelm. After all the festivities, we were treated to a wonderful feast and some great entertainment.
As I might have stated before hand, I went to Bronzehelm on a mission. I wanted to register my name. Unfortunitily, I was unable to do that with "Rena NaDeen". So the good Baroness Shauna and I sat down and sorted through all the possible names that I could be using the 'Old German' language. I found a combination that I like using my middle mundain name of "Ann" and so, I take the following with pride...

For the month of December we held an A&S day, sewing event on Sunday December 2. There were 5 ladies attending, each working on a new item of garb. The hostess for this event was one of our newest members, Melissa.
The next week, Saturday December 8, 6 of our members attended the Madrigal Dinner held at Dawson Community College, and those who had garb wore it. It was a feast held by the music department of the college, complete with music and song, jugglers, and jesters. The food was delicious and all who attended had a wonderful time. I was later complimented by the head of the music department, she was very happy to see us arrive in our garb.
Our December business meeting/ Yule Dinner was held at Sophia and Skorpius’s home on December 28th. We held a potluck dinner, to which many delicious dishes were brought. These included a soup of rabbit, a venison stew, armored turnips, beans with bacon, turkey pot pies, dinner rolls, spiced cake with honey butter and cheesecake. At the business meeting it was reported all our paperwork had been sent to the royalty and kingdom officers in order for our group to gain Incipient Status. We also needed to redo and resubmit our petition for the device and name of Drachenfeld, which all those present signed and I sent to our consulting herald, Baroness Shauna. She is attaching payment and sending it on to the Golden Pillar. Our Chatelaine also reported on what she has been doing for the month of December, which is included at the end of my report.
We have a large number of our group attending 12th night in Bronzehelm on January 12th and our next business meeting will be held Friday January 25th. The members who are interested in fighting are to meet with Skorpius on an arranged basis, in order to get their armor ready for practicing.

Chatelaine’s Report
(December 2007)
At the Business Meeting in November, I was given the Chatelaine’s position. The first thing I did was official welcome our newer members while we were at an A & S day. Both our new members became interested in our group back in October during our Demo. I presented both of them (and their husbands, who are members, but were not present) with a small gift basket and a packet of information about the SCA.
The second task I did was to make fliers. I printed out a couple to bring to the A & S day to show the shire Seneschal and Exchequer. They gave their approval and that night I printed out about 70 of them. I placed them at one of two of the grocery stores (Reynolds Market).
A couple weeks after placing the fliers and made up some posters, complete with business card holder on each. I placed in them business cards geared for the website. I placed one at the other grocery store (Albertson’s). I also put one in each of the two laundry mats, one in the gaming room at Hell Creek Music and More, and the last one at Pizza Hut.
I also have made Greeting Cards, which I have set aside, for those we could invite if a name is ever dropped to me. One will be going out to a couple who are moving here from Arizona in February. I heard from his sister that he was involved in RenFaire, not the SCA. I am hoping to change that (we will see).
A Chatelaine Project has not been decided on for the month of January…as of yet.
Good Bless all here… Rena
